MD-DE Chapter Committees
Below are descriptions of the various committees within the MD-DE chapter of Wildlife Society. We encourage members to look at the different committees to see if there is something you would be interested in helping out with. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact the committee member directly to find out more about becoming involved with the committee.
Education and Information
-Seek and employ methods of informing the public of basic concepts of wildlife biology and of Chapter and Society activities and interests

Student Affairs
-Liaison between student chapters and MD-DE Chapter
-Promotes student involvement with the Chapter

Resolutions and Public Statements
-Receives proposed resolutions or public statements from members at any time via the Executive Board.
-Researches issues, writes resolutions and public statements, circulates to Board for review, then recommends action items to the Executive Board.

Environmental Legislative Review
-Review and propose legislation that concerns natural resources in the States of Maryland-Delaware
-Summarize the legislation, and presents a written report to the Executive Board for action

Newsletter
-The Chair of this committee will serve as Newsletter Editor and shall be responsible for issuance of a Chapter Newsletter to members

Membership Committee
-Encourages Chapter membership growth
-Welcomes new members to the Chapter
-Helps facilitate communication between members and the Chapter Board

Archives
-The Chair of this committee will serve as the Archivist
-Compiles a file that contains a membership list for each year, a copy of the minutes from each spring and Annual meeting and Executive Board meetings, any photographs of special awards ceremonies, and similar memorabilia
